The restaurant reached their target goal within just 100 hours of the Kickstarter being live. We’re really excited for the Norse team as they will now have more space and equipment which means more scope for them to develop their menu and expand their drinks list. If you want to find out more about what they’re doing head over to their blog.
But what does this mean for Baltzersen’s?
While the Norse guys get more space to prep and cook their delicious dishes, we’ll also regain the space we gave them when we first started sharing the café back in April 2014. This means we’ll also have more space for storage, prep and baking.
We know that this extra space will give our chefs and bakers at Baltzersen’s more room to be creative and develop their dishes, cakes and techniques further.
There will be more opportunity for us to offer outside catering. In the past we’ve created great breakfasts and lunches for businesses in the local area and we hope to do more of this with our extra space. We offer cinnamon buns and pastries, open sandwiches and sweet treats all delivered to your office (distance restrictions may apply). For enquiries drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
With the restaurant in its new space, we’ll now be able to offer the café to hire in the evening. This could be for parties, events and more!
We’re fully licensed so alcohol isn’t a problem and we can also provide the food. We’ll work with you to create a menu that suits your event.
Alternatively, you can take over the whole space, including the kitchen, for your own event. The guys from fiction have already planned their first event at Baltzersen’s with a four-course set menu on 31st March. Tickets available here.
If you’d like to book the café for an evening or have any questions about holding a party or event with us drop us an email via email@example.com
